Advanced English Proficiency Test

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Advanced English Proficiency Test ("AEPT") mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

AEPT provides a mobile platform for assessing English language proficiency. The service includes practice assessments, official proctored examinations, scoring, and verifiable CEFR-aligned certificates. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service.
• You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
• Your account may be suspended or terminated if you are found to be violating the integrity of our assessment process.

4. Test Integrity & Proctoring

To maintain the validity of our official certificates, AEPT employs strict monitoring protocols during the Official Exam. By initiating an Official Exam, you explicitly consent to:

• The recording of your voice during the speaking section.
• The intermittent capture of your face via the front camera to verify identity and presence.
• The monitoring of your device to detect app minimization, split-screen usage, or third-party interference.

Any detected violation of these rules, including the use of external aids, AI tools, or other individuals, will result in the immediate nullification of your exam results without a refund.

5. Purchases and Refunds

Official AEPT Exams are processed securely through Google Play Billing.

• All purchases of Official Exam attempts are final and non-refundable once the exam has been initiated.
• If an exam attempt fails due to a verified technical error on our end, a replacement attempt will be credited to your account.
• Refunds requested through Google Play for completed exams will result in the immediate revocation of your certificate and Verification ID.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of AEPT and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any test materials, prompts, or questions provided in the app.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AEPT, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
